Advocacy groups such as the THSC and the HSLDA are here to help homeschoolers.

It makes me green around the gills. The public as a whole has not completely embraced homeschooling. Not all businesses, neighbors, nor social services understand it unless they’ve experienced it. Even in the freest state in the world, Texans still have to come to the realization that to homeschool also means knowing Parental Rights. It’s the new and unfortunate concern in the homeschooling world.
Ask Christina Tutt. Her court cases and legal woes continue to be before her and her family. We’re waiting to hear the outcome of the latest battle on Friday, June 27, 2014. The current post on the Tutt family situation is posted on the THSC website, which includes the previous posts to bring you up to speed. Check it out and other similar cases, and remember to keep them in your prayers.
Like THSC, the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) also assists homeschooling families. Their focus is national and abroad. Their latest post on Parental Rights include the recent Return of the Parental Rights Amendment to the US Senate. Check out their other great resources while you’re at it.
