  • Texas Home School Coalition (THSC)’s “Considering Home Schooling?” – Just the facts, particularly the legal ones, designed especially for Texans. Offers a free quarterly magazine. Members receive free legal assistance and discounts on homeschool resources.

  1. This is good information. I enjoy going to library information sessions and free classes for this type of thing. Now I know more about what to consider if I ever need to home school. The idea is so daunting since I’m not a teacher, so you’ve provided some great resources. Thanks!

    1. Thanks for the kudos! There are LOTS of parents out there that homeschool without having had any teaching experience. Most parents parent without taking parenting classes, which includes assisting their children with their homework… well what do you know? You’re qualified! Parents usually know best 🙂
