In response to the July 6, 2014 Las Vegas Review-Journal article by Glenn Cook, “All Your Children Belong to Us,” the following Facebook meme appeared:

I homeschool because I have seen the village and I don't want it raising my children
Mr. Cook revealed that the Scottish government plans to appoint an “official state guardian” for every child in Scotland by August of 2016 – that’s this year!
